What this site does
Own For My Rent takes the rent and cash figures you enter and estimates what a monthly payment might look like on homes currently listed for sale nearby. It is a starting point for a conversation, not financial advice.
How the estimates are calculated
Estimates use standard mortgage maths with fixed, published assumptions — the interest rate, property-tax rate, insurance rate, PMI rate, and closing-cost percentage are shown alongside each property's estimate, together with the date the interest rate was last checked against the market.
Your actual costs will differ. Real rates depend on your credit, income, debts, down payment, loan type, and the lender. Property taxes vary by town and by assessment. Insurance depends on the home and on you. HOA fees are shown only when the listing discloses them, and an undisclosed fee is treated as zero — which means a real payment may be higher than the estimate shown.
Listing information
Property details come from a third-party data provider and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current. Homes may already be under agreement or off the market. Prices, photographs, square footage, and other details may be wrong or out of date. Always verify anything that matters to you before making a decision.
No agency relationship
Using this site does not create an agency, brokerage, or fiduciary relationship. A relationship of that kind is created only by a written agreement that you sign. If you are already represented by another real estate agent under an exclusive agreement, this is not an attempt to solicit that representation.
Not a lender
Neither this site nor its operator is a mortgage lender, mortgage broker, credit counsellor, tax adviser, or attorney, and nothing here is an offer to lend. Talk to a licensed lender about financing and to your own professionals about tax and legal questions.
